Qigong (pronounced Chee Gung) is an ancient Chinese art which includes movements to improve mobility, suppleness, posture & well being through focusing on the connection of mind, body & breathing to enhance our life force or Qi (Chi). Known as moving meditation or mindfulness in motion, it is similar to Tai Chi although the movements are non-martial & can be practiced in a smaller space i.e.: in your own front room.
These systems have been modernised after much research by Chinese Health Qigong Association - specialist teams at various Sports Universities in China in recent years & are gaining popularity as an excellent activity to relieve many chronic ailments of modern life & encourage a positive attitude & lifestyle.
Qigong is fun, enjoyable & developmental. Learn in our friendly groups where everyone is encouraged to work within their own comfort zone & physical condition.
Vicky has trained with Chinese Masters in the UK, China & Portugal since 2007 & is qualified under the British Health Qigong Association to teach all 9 systems within their syllabus. She is an 'Authorised Instructor Revalidation Trainer'' & Gold medallist in Health Qigong Competition.
